Our Committee

Executive Committee 2025-2026

Hannah Cope (She/Her)

Hi! I’m Hannah, your President for Blowsoc this year! I’m so excited to lead our awesome Exec team, and help to make our concerts and rehearsals the best yet (and Tour!)

I play the Clarinet, Piano and (attempted) Saxophone, and also conduct both Clarinets and Concert Band in Blowsoc. My favourite piece I’ve conducted in Blowsoc has to be when the legendary Concert Band played my Muse Medley!

I love Blowsoc because we achieve so much in the course of a year. There are many, many passionate people and I’m so looking forward to meeting many more!

Harvey Earle (He/Him)

Welcome to Blowsoc! I’m Harvey, your Vice President for the coming year. I can’t wait to meet plenty of new people and put on some amazing concerts!

I play the Euphonium, and can identify every national flag! My favourite piece I’ve played in Blowsoc is Sing, Sing, Sing, and some particular poignant moments for me in Blowsoc so far would have to be Tour and Unibrass!

Come along and join us in Blowsoc – you’ll be welcomed into an amazing community and have the opportunity to meet people, perform and travel across the country and around the world!

Sophie Delamere (She/Her)

Hey! I’m Sophie, your General Secretary this year (woo!)! I am excited for lots of things this year, but particularly the LTCs!

I play the Flute (although I sometimes panic and forget how to play it!) and my favourite piece we’ve played in Blowsoc is How to Train Your Dragon! We have had so many memorable moments in Blowsoc, however our trip to Germany was definitely my favourite!

You should come and join Blowsoc because it is filled with the most incredible people and is where I met my best friends!

Grace Jolly (She/Her)

Hi! I’m Grace, and I’m the Blowsoc Treasurer this year. I am really looking forward to looking after the finances so we can do lots of concerts, socials and other fun Blowsoc things!

I play the Cornet and French Horn, and this will be my second year in Blowsoc. A piece that I loved playing last year was Laudate Dominum, which we played in Brass. Speaking of Brass, a favourite moment from last year was us winning Best March at UniBrass!

Blowsoc is a lovely group of people that you get to play music with and just overall have a great time. We’d love you to join us!

Kieran Robson (He/Him)

I’m Kieran, your Blowsoc Social Sec this year! Be prepared to go on some fun and unique socials, and to get dressed up stupid!

I basically play all of Brass (handy when parts are missing), and particularly enjoy playing Valero in Blowsoc. A top moment whist in Blowsoc has got to be doing Drag in Cardiff!

It would be great to see you in Blowsoc, especially as there’s always an event on (musical, social or both!)

Beckay Brundrett-Hall (She/Her)

3rd Year Music

Toot toot! I’m Beckay, returning as your Tour Manager for Blowsoc this year! I am super excited for the Tour we have planned this year – keep your eyes peeled for more information!

I play the Trumpet, and LOVED playing It’s Raining Men in Brass! I have also conducted in Blowsoc, and am proud of the fact that Blowsoc won Best Live Performance last year, which was aided by myself being the best PA to the PA!

You should tootally join Blowsoc because it is a fabulous bunch of people, and it gets you out of studying cuz there’s so many groups to join! The more you join, the less you study!

Demari Fulford (He/Him)

Hi! I’m Demari, and I’m so happy to be Blowsoc’s Wellbeing Coordinator this year! I’m eager to organise lots of wonderful Wellbeing events and to be the new dictionary definition of ‘Wellbeing’ in Blowsoc 🙂

I play the Trumpet, with The Queen of Soul being the best piece I’ve played in Blowsoc so far (because it adds a little more soul to mine!) A fun memory in Blowsoc (which I’m sure will be repeated this year!) is when Rhianna says something completely inaudible (mumbles/gibberish etc) and somehow Bailey knows exactly what she’s saying!

Blowsoc is a brilliant society to be a part of; I’m not particularly interested in professionally performing, so Blowsoc was a great way for me to still be in an ensemble/playing with others without there being too much pressure.

Jenny Pilbeam (She/Her)

Hellooo! I’m Jenny, the Publicity and Marketing Officer for Blowsoc this year (aka, the face behind our social media!). I can’t wait to create some funky posts and videos, and to promote Blowsoc so people know what an amazing society and family we are!

I play the Saxophone and Piano, and am also a part of the Saxophone Conducting double act (roll on year 2 Bailey!). I have loved conducting so many pieces in Saxes; however, my favourite has to be Pirates of the Caribbean! One thing to watch out for with me is that I do have a tendency to play through rests, or just disregard all key signatures!

We’d love you to join Blowsoc because it is the most supportive and friendly ensemble, where everyone is there to have fun and play some cracking music!

Rhianna McCoull (She/Her)

Hi! I’m Rhianna, your Ensembles Coordinator for the second year running! I’m super excited to help with the running of all ensembles to make sure they offer everyone a great experience, and also looking forward to playing in as many as I can myself!

I play the Flute, Piccolo, and recently started learning the Clarinet and Saxophone (not the Trumpet…yet!). I am also one of the Flute Conductors and the Wind Orchestra Assistant Conductor! The best piece I have played in Blowsoc has to be Christmas Festival in Concert Band, despite not knowing which tune was coming next until I was playing it!

Blowsoc is such a great way to make friends with similarly musically-minded people and enjoy making music together! There’s always room for more, especially with Monster Concert Band at the end of each concert, where everyone is on the stage at once!
