International College Welcome Fair
Wednesday 17th September, 12:00-15:00: We’re at the UNIC Welcome Fair??? That’s right! This year, we will be there from 12:00-15:00 in the ESLC Atrium on University Park Campus with all the information you need to get involved in our society.
Society and Sports Fair: Day 1
Featuring: A performance from our New Community Music Ensemble 14:30-15:30
Monday 22nd September 10:00-17:00 : Come and find us at the Society and Sports Fair on the Monday of Welcome Week! Come to our stand in the Performance Section at the David Ross Sports Centre (you’ll find us next to Mussoc!) to find out more information about our society, how to sign up for a Wind Orchestra or Moonlighters Big Band audition, collect some fun merchandise items and meet the Executive and Artistic committee.

Mussoc x Blowsoc Welcome Fun Day
Friday 26th September, 11:00-15:00: After an exciting Welcome Week, come along on the grassy area outside of the Music Building to our Welcome Fun Day to eat plenty of delicious snacks, get an official welcome from the Blowsoc and Mussoc committees, play some Rounders and meet new people! Come along any time.
Try-It Week
29th September- 3rd October

Blowsoc Concert Band TRY-IT!
Wednesday 1st October, 13:00-14:10: Come along to the Rehearsal Hall in the Music Department from 13:00-14:20 to try Blowsoc’s largest unauditioned ensemble, Concert Band! This is a fantastic chance to get to know members of the band, meet our executive committee and have a go at playing some fun music.
Blowsoc Small Ensembles TRY-ITS! (Schedule below)
Wednesday 1st October, 14:10-18:50:Come along to our small ensemble Try-Its! This is a fantastic opportunity to try out our instrument specific small ensembles. Expect exciting music, a chance to socialise with our lovely members, and plenty of biscuits! Come along to as many as you wish; we’d love to have you.

Blowsoc Wind Orchestra TRY-IT!
Wednesday 1st October, 19:00-21:00: Come along to try Wind Orchestra, Blowsoc’s largest auditioned ensemble before the audition weekend on 3th-5th October! Come along for a chance to play some more difficult pieces, conducted by our lovely professional conductor, Ian, and get to know us!
Blowsoc Brass Band TRY IT!
Friday 3rd October, 18:00-20:00: An opportunity to try out our glorious unauditioned Brass Band! Come along to the Recital Hall to come and play with us, meet our student conductors, and get to know our band!

Friday 3rd-Sunday 5th October: This is your chance to try out for either, or both, of our auditioned ensembles, Wind Orchestra and Moonlighters Big Band. Come along to our stall at the Welcome fairs for the QR code to sign up!
